Hand Painted Sea Turtle Necklace

This lovely hand painted sea turtle appears to be swimming in the ocean. It is painted by Melissa in reverse on a glass cabochon and hung on a 20-inch black nylon cord fastened with a nickel free lobster clasp. A perfect piece of wearable art!!

Some of the hand painted marble pendants are done by Melissa Sheridan, others are done by Rebecca Sheridan Hahn. These unique paintings are done in reverse on the backs of clear, flat-backed 1-inch marbles. The artists use toothpicks, hair, stylus and fine paint brushes to apply the paint. After they are done with their creativity, I put the finishing touch on the back and hang them on what I think would most enhance their work.
